Once you’ve submitted your tax return, whether you celebrate with brew or something stronger, take a few moments to imagine how easier it will be next year if you plan ahead!
Look in your calendar and plan in at the end of each month going forward when you can sit down and complete your documents to keep things up to date. You’ll thank yourself when you submit your return, knowing everything has been remembered (can you remember what you ate last week?) and logged accordingly.
It’s easier said than done, but it’ll save you the rush and panic of a looming deadline – and as a bonus, you’ll have longer to pay any tax due.
